Golden Fairway - Troubleshooting Guide
Firewall
If you cannot log into the game, chances are very high that if you are using Windows XP or newer, your firewall is not allowing Goldenfairway access to the internet.

- Click Start
- Click Control Panel
- Windows XP has two different ways to view the Control Panel. If your Control Panel list does not have the items in figure 1,
then you are likely using Classic View, and you can move on to step 4. If your Control Panel does look like figure 1, then you
are using Category View. Please click Network and Internet Connections:

then click Windows Firewall:

- If you are in Classic View, please click Windows Firewall:

- You will now see the Windows Firewall window. Under the General tab, be sure you have On (recommended) selected before moving on.

- Click on the Exceptions tab. Click the Add Port... button.

- In the Add a Port dialog, add port 9000 by entering all of the information shown in the image below, then click OK. This will return you to the Exceptions tab shown in figure 5.

Your firewall should now allow traffic on the necessary ports for logging into GoldenFairway.

- Now you will need to allow the game itself access through your firewall. Click Add Program and browse for Goldenfairway. Click Goldenfairway and hit OK

You can now close all the windows you opened by following the steps above. Congratulations! you have just setup your firewall to allow goldenfairway access to the internet.
